Getting up early may not be in your definition of your perfect vacation day but for a day such as this one, trust us it’s worth it. After a pick up on one of our pick up points we will start our journey through the countryside to Plitvice Lakes.
Ride from Split to Plitvice
Your trip from Split to Plitvice national park will last for approximately 3 hours. During the highway ride you’ll be entertained by our local tour guide.
Plitvice Lakes
The Plitvice National Park tour will take you along wooden paths that are floating over 16 cascade lakes. A walk across Gornja Jezera (Upper Lakes ) and a boat ride experience to Donja Jezera will showcases the greatness of Plitvice lakes, before you capture it with your selfie stick by Veliki slap, the biggest waterfall in Croatia (78 m high). Grab a spot on a bench and take in the sounds of nature; gushing waterfalls, birds chirping and leaves in the wind.
Experience local cuisine
Once the guided tour of Plitvice lakes national park is finished we will stop at a local tavern for lunch. Lunch is optional and at your expense. Instead you can choose to spend more time enjoying the nature or simply relaxing before we conclude the tour and head back to Split.

And although it is a long drive, experiencing the park and guide make the tour a great day worth it.

We were given a lot of information by our guide while driving to Plitvice Park. Transport was very comfortable in their A/C Benz minibus with free wifi and USB charging slots. We walked around 7km with breaks and covered both the upper and lower lakes with boat ride and snack break. On our way back we stopped to taste a local food with extremely reasonable prices. We have spent a really enjoyable day and we really recommend this tour operator and wish them all the best as they provided us an excellent service.

Communication about where to go etc. was super helpful and everything went very smoothly. It was very nice to take a pictures around and still be able to hear guide speak since we were given a small radio receiver so we could stray about 60m from him and still hear him.

We were offered to have a pick up and drop off convenience with a luxury bus with wi-fi, air condition and very spacious. Perfectly planned route with enough stops to grab a snack and visit restroom.
Our guide did amazing job educating us about Croatian history and natural wonders.
Blue and green crystal clear water accompanied by dozens of breath-taking waterfalls is simply breathtaking.
I have only one suggestion to those taking the tour: the driver and tour guide spend 12 hours with you- don’t forget to tip them!

We were picked up at our hotel promptly with spacious and air conditioned bus. Although it is a 3 hours long ride, it was very pleasant as we made rest stops and commentary along the way.
